Arlington, Va., Feb. 22, 2018 – Washington Business Journal’s annual list of the D.C. metro area’s Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies includes Fonteva, a Ballston-based software company whose 2017 revenue increased by 71%, to $12.8 million, up from $8.7 million in 2016.
CEO Jerry Huskins attributed the company’s growth to three key factors: The Salesforce platform on which it builds applications; the collaborative and nurturing culture it created, which has been instrumental in attracting top-notch talent; and its ability to deliver customized, scalable solutions to a wide variety of customers, each with unique requirements.
Huskins and co-founders Paul Lundy and Mac Anderson – President and Chief Technology Officer, respectively – came together in 2010 with a vision. In the first year, it was just the three of them executing a plan. They’re now overseeing more than 100 employees and working shoulder-to-shoulder with them to ensure continued success for the company and its customers.
